A day-long outing to Dover, Tennessee explores the fateful events of February, 1862 that set the stage for the coming spring campaign and the titanic struggle among the farm lots, fields, and woods along the banks of the Tennessee River at Shiloh.

The trip to the railroad town of Corinth is part of a two-day excursion. This tour covers not only John Henry's experience at the Battle of Shiloh, but the preceding events within the Confederate high command that led him there.

A stand-alone one-day trip or as part of the extended two-day excursion, this program is the reason for them all. The Shiloh walking tour, "Cry 'Havoc!" follows the actions of my second great grandfather John Henry Coker as the 3rd Mississippi Battalion fought their way into history on the 6th and 7th of April, 1862.
